Day 19 - Climbing into the clouds ☁️❄️

Woke up to a cold cold morning… so much so that I didn’t want to leave bed.

We kept our leftover potatoes from last night and ate them for breakfast plus oatmeal because.. we going on a good ole hike.

We found a mini hike on side of road on way to Mt. Rainier and saw some cool views and glacier formed creeks.

When we got to the big mountain, it was pretty cold and foggy. We layered up, tightened our shoelaces then hiked up the mountain.

It was so snowy and foggy that we couldn’t actually see Rainier because it was engulfed in a cloud… oh well, still worth it.

As we snacked at the top, a very curious chipmunk climbed onto my shoe to get a better sniff of what we were eating.

The hike down wasn't nearly as bad as we held hands and slid down the hills and stumbling here and there.
