Day 65 - Bye Estes

Our final day had arrived in Colorado, but it had seemed as though the weather wanted us to stay! 

The car was covered in at least a foot and a half of snow and we had to wait for the driveway to be plowed before we headed out. 

So we had a lazy morning, made lunch and then hit the road! 

Another beautiful drive seeing all the snow-coated trees. 

We made our way back down and found a camp spot close to New Mexico but was still in Colorado. 

Once we arrived we hurried to make a quick rice dinner then bundled up. 

It turned out to be a cold night so we slept in the car and woke up with more fresh snow on the ground. We layered up though, and kept pretty warm overall throughout the night.
