Day 26 - Ashland

Oops, the maintenance light went on in my car so we brought it in for an oil change and new filter! Luckily it was a quick in and out place so we didn’t have to wait too long.

After the oil change we went to the town of Ashland to explore the shops! First was the hippie bookstore called SoundPeace with candles, crystals, yoga books and incense. It was cool but we didn’t end up buying anything.

Next we came across an art gallery/ wine tasting so we got to try out the wine while looking at the paintings/ photographs. I really enjoyed the local wines and a couple were even smoky… I was wondering if it got that flavor partially from a previous forest fire. We didn’t end up buying any bottles because they cost a pretty penny!

Jonah and I were anxious to get moving so we went to the local park called Lithia Park. We only got to walk a small portion of it because it is 93 acres!

By the time we finished it was 4pm so we wanted to stop for a $4 happy hour margarita! Super tasty!

Also, we passed a candy shop (sorry Mommy) I couldn’t resist getting a candy apple and Jonah got some candy corns!  As we returned home we were greeted by the friendly farm cat that sits in a box by the door!
