Day 74 - Exploring Savannah — Rebecca / Jonah

Our morning was lazy today and we had a late start since we were busy playing with Ciara’s cat.

Once we got showered and ready, we decided to explore town! The first stop of the day was lunch… we tried a new place that Cici had been wanting to try and guess what? It was all vegan (yum). We got salad and mac-n-cheese. It could have fooled me for the real thing honestly.

After lunch we walked around some local stores and gift shops! One of them was called Nourish and had all homemade bath and body products so I bought some holiday gifts.

Another fun stop was at a popcorn parlor where they had every imaginable flavor in stock. It was a bit overwhelming so I stuck to a gourmet favorite of truffle flavored.

We returned to Ciara’s apartment for a few hours to relax, and then later went out to dinner at a fun taco shop with tasty margaritas… and the night was just getting started!

Since we were doing a short visit, it was important to pack in as much as possible during the day/ night.

We walked down an old staircase and checked out the historic river street made up of old cobblestone. We walked in a candy shop where I bought a praline (so good).

The last stop of the day was to a place called Jen’s and Friends where they had over 300 martinis and some pretty wacky flavors too. I wanted the local taste of Georgia peach but it was a hard decision to make.
