Day 59 - Monument Valley

Today was our last day in Phoenix so we got a breakfast with my mom then parted ways. We drove to get one last in-n-out burger before we left and restocked on water then we were on our way to Monument Valley!

Since the sun sets so early now, we didn’t do much else besides drive today. The drive though was amazing though and the monument looking rock formations were something to see. I was again shocked to see how these natural formations can exist in such interesting shapes.  

We drove up a super windy road around large rocks to get to our campsite. It was definitely a little more scary doing the drive at night as opposed to daytime, but we managed. It was too dark to see anything during the night so we didn’t take pictures of the ride up!
