Day 61 - Pagosa Hot Springs
Before heading to the northern part of Colorado, we decided it would be fun to check out some natural hot springs! I loved the natural hot spring pool and hot tub even though it smelled like rotten eggs. Yuck!
As we left the springs we noticed that you can also swim in the river with a natural hot spring heating the area! I would have gone in if I knew it was a thing earlier!
Unfortunately it was a long trip to make it up the state to Estes Park (where we are staying with my cousin), so we drove pretty much all day.
We made it to Denver for dinner and I tricked Jonah into going to a vegan restaurant.. lol. I enjoyed the “cauliflower wings” and fake “mac n cheese.”
Afterwards we stopped at a little market with food and drinks to pick up a bottle of wine to bring to my cousin. They happened to have a free wine tasting so we couldn’t resist. After that we went to Boulder to check out the night life and get one last glass of wine with some olives.
We made it back pretty late so we went to bed after a nice hot shower.
